All about curtains

The curtains are basically meant to serve as a protective covering for the windows to protect a house or inside any other establishment of excessive sunlight and other potentially harmful elements from the outside, such as dust and some rain.

The curtains are made of textiles, sometimes of cotton or other fabric with pure texture treatment. Sometimes, it may be of linen or satin. However, any material that the curtains are made, one thing is sure: to be the right size for the window to be considered just right for use as a curtain.

On the average sizes of Cortina

There are two main elements in relation to the sizes of the medium shade. It's not the fall, and the width. The fall basically refers to the length of the curtain. The width, on the other hand, refers to the breadth of the base of the curtain.

The standard size of the medium shade is 45 inches by 54 inches. This means that the width is 45 inches, and the fall is 54 inches. But of course, many other sizes of curtains to see. These measurements depend on the window where you will put on.

Getting the right size Curtain

So how do you ensure that the right size for your window shade. To begin, start by measuring the width and length of the curtain rod or pole. This is where the curtain rises through what could be hung in the window. After this, measure the length of the window. To ensure that the shade of a purchase only look good in that window, you must make concessions in the measurements. For us, a subsidy of about 2 to 3 inches is enough. Never mind the extra inches wrinkles that result - they actually add to the romantic feeling of the curtain.
